Malcolm Hayes

13O AAA Head Coach

Coach Hayes started his youth hockey in Atlanta. He moved on to playing in Florida and also moving to Detroit in 8th grade. Malcolm has seen it all. He played prep school hockey at New Hampton, New Hampshire for 3 years and Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts for one post graduate year. Following high school, he accepted a scholarship to the University of Maine where he appeared in 54 games and tallied four goals and three assists for the Black Bears. Malcolm then transferred to the University of Alaska Anchorage for his final year of eligibility. After college, he signed his first professional contract with the Atlanta Gladiators. During the pause in pro sports, Malcolm decided to take his passion for training and lock in on the fitness side of performance. During that time he earned his personal certification with The American Council on Exercise, the leading nonprofit exercise professional and health coach certification organization. He currently resides in Suwannee, Georgia with his girlfriend Morgan and their daughter Maliyah.
